AWS re/Start is a cohort-based workforce development training program that prepares individuals for careers in the cloud and connects them to potential employers. A technology background is not required to apply.The program is free to the learner and focused on helping unemployed or underemployed individuals launching a new career. AWS re/Start’s collaborating organizations support underrepresented groups, minorities, displaced individuals, young people, and more.

Through coursework and hands-on labs, using real world scenarios, learners can gain the technical skills they need for entry to mid-level cloud roles.AWS re/Start also provides learners with professional skills training like resume and interview coaching to prepare them for employer meetings and job interviews.

Join a cohort of individuals for instructor-led training, labs, and scenario-based exercises designed to support you launching a cloud career.

Prepare for AWS Certification

Once learners have built AWS Cloud services skills, they can prepare for the AWS Certification exams with complimentary access to practice exams and full exams.

Launch your career

Learners receive additional resume and interview coaching to prepare for employer meetings and interviews plus access to the AWS Emerging Talent Community upon graduation.

Is there a cost to participate in the AWS re/Start program?

The AWS re/Start program is completely free to the learner.

How long will it take to process my application?

We aim to complete the initial review of your application within 2 weeks of submission.

What is the preparation required for the program?

Have a personal portable computer/notebook and laptop for each class session.

What are the requirements for graduating from the programand receiving AWS Certification?

Attendance
1. Full attendance is expected - This is not a self-study program. If a leaner is absent, they need to provide a justifiable reason for the absence to the instructor;
2. Learners need to catch up on any missed material.

Participation
1. Learners are expected to engage actively in the classroom.
2. Learners must complete all labs.
3. Learners must complete all assessments.
4. Learners must consume all curriculum content.

Progress
1. Learners should score at least 70% overall on assessments (re-takes are acceptable).
